Teen Group- For teens 13+ "Let's Talk Advocacy!" Meaningful conversation on self-advocacy followed by games & snacks!l 5th-grade collaboration space

 

November 6th From 6:30-8:30 pm Kromrey Middle School

Middle/High School Parents- MCPASD Transition Staff & Parent Panel - Learn about transitioning to adulthood from MHS staff and parents that have gone through the process.  Room 506 (Music Room)

Elementary School Parents- MCPASD Elementary School Case Managers & Student Services Coordinator- Q&A for elementary school parents. Room 505

Teen Group- For teens 13+ "Becoming An Adult!" Meaningful conversation self-determination and becoming an adult and activities around what it looks like to become an adult, followed by games & snacks! Meet in 5th-grade collaboration space

 

February 5th From 6:30-8:30 pm Kromrey Middle School

Middle/High School Parents- Fostering Inclusion & Engagement at School

Elementary Parents- Fostering Family Engagement in the IEP

Teen Group-  For teens 13+ "Inclusion" Meaningful conversation the topic of inclusion, followed by games & snacks! Meet in 5th-grade collaboration space

 

March 4th From 6:30-8:30 pm Kromrey Middle School

Panel Discussion- "What We've Learned Along The Way" From parents, students, & adults with disabilities Room 506 (Music Room)

Teen Group- For teens 13+ "Community " Meaningful conversation the topic of being involved in your community, followed by games & snacks! Meet in 5th-grade collaboration space

 

May 6th From 5:30-8:00 pm- Lakeview Park Middleton

Come join us for dinner and the Third Annual "Above & Beyond Awards" recognizing people in the school & community that support people with disabilities! A suggested $5 donation and/or bring a dish to pass. Nominate a teacher, student, parent, or person in the community that you feel goes Above & Beyond to support people with disabilities by emailing SPARKMiddletonWI@gmail.com include honoree's name and a brief story on how that person supports people with disabilities in their community
