Teen Group is a wonderful way for teens to get together have fun and work on some common goals!

*For teens ages 13+

*Takes place during the parent educational meetings (parents must remain present) Meet in the 5th-grade collaboration space at Kromrey Middle School

*Student participation is encouraged, please fill out parent waiver before the start of your child's first class

TEEN GROUP

October 9th 6:30-8:30

"Let's Talk Self Advocacy!" Students will engage in a meaningful conversation around self-advocacy followed by some related games and activities finishing up with snacks and free time to just "chill" with fellow classmates.

November 6th 6:30-8:30

"Becoming An Adult!" Students will engage in a meaningful conversation around what it means to become an adult and how self-determination plays into reaching your goals.  Followed by related games and activities ending with a snack and free time.

February 5th 6:30-8:30

"What is inclusion?" Teens will explore the meaning of inclusion, what it means to them and how they see it in their future. Followed by games and snacks

March 4th 6:30-8:30

"What is community?" Meaningful conversation on what is a community and how to find your place including ways to get involved. Followed by games and snacks
